MUSIC  SESSION A very entertaining evening of music, song and dance was provided by the pupils of  Emly N.S on Friday evening last in the Golden Thatch. A large appreciative audience was captivated by the high standard of music performances provided by the boys and girls of the school many of whom are taking part in the upcoming county fleadh cheoil  in Roscrea.

REGIONAL  AWARDS The tidy towns regional awards took place on Tuesday last in the Golden Thatch, Emly.  Regional winners from Carlow, Kilkenny, Waterford Wexford and Tipperary gathered to receive their awards from the Minister of the Environment, Phil Hogan. GAA  CELEBRATION 125 Years Celebrations Emly GAA Club will mark its 125 years anniversary on the weekend of Fri July 1st – Sun July 3rd.
