JUNIOR  HURLING  SEMI-FINAL Emly’s run in the County Junior A hurling championship came to an end in Dundrum on Saturday last when defeated by Thurles Sarsfields in a very entertaining game. Having fallen behind early in the first half, the Emly boys ended the half strongly and the teams were level at 1-7 each at the break. In the second half Sarsfields put the pressure on again but Emly stayed within striking distance of them until the last five minutes when Thurles pulled away to win 1-17 to 2-10.
